Pulse Oximetry
The purpose of the pulse oximeter is to provide a noninvasive estimate of oxygen saturation in the blood. The pulse oximeter is a spectrophotometric device that detects and calculates a measurement called SpO2. Equipment set up and thorough instructions are provided in the patient/caregiver’s place of residence.
