Apnea Monitors
An apnea monitoring device is utilized for infants and managed by the caregiver at the patient’s place of residence. The purpose of the apnea monitor is to detect absent, increased, or decreased respiration and heart rate activity and sound an alarm if respiratory and heart rate limits are breached.
Our clinicians provide set up in the patient home or discharging facility. Caregivers are provided thorough instruction on the equipment, supplies and alarms by our clinicians.
